This exciting and talented artist is now living in Bendigo and offering a unique opportunity to learn or improve your artistic endeavours - beginners or experienced artists, Aime will nurture you all! (The following timetables are just a guide and not set in concrete - contact the artist for further details).
ART CLASSES BY AIME SACREZ
The first art course will be still life painting.
Artists will have an opportunity to work in charcoal and white chalk on paper and oils on canvas.
The course will cover one project to allow artists to gradually build up a refined painting over six classes and will include demonstrations and critiques by artist Aime Sacrez.
This course has been structured to cover basic and advanced techniques of oil painting from life.
Artists will have the skills and confidence to paint still life paintings of there own upon completing this course.
The next course will be painting portraits from life in oils. Artists can choose to continue classes after the first course.
Class details:
Venue: Saint Andrews Church Hall
24 Myers street, Bendigo
Date: Classes held every Friday
First class beginning: 18th of March 2011
Time: 5:30pm – 7:30pm
Cost: $25 per class x 6 classes= $150 to be paid on the first day.
Materials not included
Course duration: each art course is over a six week period once a week.

The classes have a limited number to allow a personalised atmosphere for artists.
LANDSCAPE PAINTING CLASS
These landscape painting classes will be held once every two weeks in various scenic locations around Bendigo. Artists will have an opportunity to study how to paint varied subjects and atmospheric conditions out of doors.
Artist Aime Sacrez will paint on site as well as critiquing artists work.
Painting small two hour landscape sketches is an excellent complement to painting in the studio as it adds realism and true colours to larger paintings.
These classes are tailored to all levels and are predominately aimed toward painting in oils although artists are welcome to use other mediums as well. Artists will grow in skill and confidence with each class and are guaranteed to improve technically.
Bendigo has many inspiring landscapes and painting outdoors with other artists is sure to be fun.
Class Details
Venue: the first class will be at lake Weeroona meeting at the Rowing club car park off Weeroona Avenue. This will be the meeting place before each class.
Artists will then travel to each location as a group or meet at the specified location directly.
Date: classes will be on the first and third Wednesday of each month
(in case of heavy rain Aime will notify artists of a rescheduled date).
First class beginning: 5th of January 2011
Time: 2pm - 5pm
Aime will leave from the Lake Weeroona Rowing club at 1:30 if artists are unsure of the location or direction of the class site.
Cost: the cost is $20 per class, materials not included.
